Best Italian food in the United States.Ms kelly one of the managers, was so helpful when I ordered came out wrong. Our server was amazing as well. Top notch service all around the board.

I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about this place. Every experience I've ever had at Maggiano's has been awesome. Professional wait staff, delicious food, beautiful decor and reasonable prices. They have the old school table clothes which is nostalgic for me. The place kinda reminds me of a restaurant the mafia would go to back in the day, it has a certain old school Italian mafia type feel it. Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Richmond/Henrico Virginia.

The food is always great. The price is great for what you get. We love the Marco's meal for 2, which includes an appetizer, 2 meals, dessert, and 2 take home classic pastas for dinner the next night too. The staff has all been great.

The food and experience was great. And... It is usually a great experience here. I would have given five stars if I was not pinned in a corner with a wobbly table. Apparently, the table spins to tighten, but the staff explained they could not fix it while we were there. It is okay, I still enjoyed the service, food, and culture of Maggiano's. We go there to commemorate family events. This night was awesome and I am thankful that we have venues like this one. I love Mama's lasagna. And the deserts... Well, I loved it!

The Marco's meal for 2 is an amazing value. I was able to have a wonderful meal including the appetizer, chicken and spinach manicotti and eggplant parmigiana. I got 2 classic pastas to go and an amazing dessert. The quality of the dinner was amazing and the service was outstanding, as always. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or just want to end a busy week with a treat to yourself and those you love this is definitely the place to go. Just look at the size of the entrees and you will see the value for your dollar!!

One of my favorite Italian restaurant. Food is extremely good. Their parmesan chicken is the best I have tried. Spaghetti is always tasty. The dessert will never disappoint you. Plus, their service is very professional. Definitely a great place to try great Italian food.

Dinner at Maggiano's (Short Pump/Richmond, Virginia) made our anniversary one to remember thanks to our waiter, Michael, who quickly displayed a friendly & welcoming personality in addition to his comprehensive knowledge of the menu. The bruschetta was one of the best I've ever eaten alongside the delicious mushroom ravioli. Michael graciously topped off our meal with two complimentary glasses of anniversary champage. We definitely plan to return to Maggiano's!

Food and drinks were great...our server Prince was epic...highly recommend asking for him if he's working. He accommodated us with everything we asked for...superb service.

I LOVE Maggiano's...Although, this location was not my favorite...very small, tight seating and the manager was not to flexible with menu selection and pleasing its customer(s)...Don't we still tipped more than 40% of our bill.

Great food and atmosphere and we met the best waitress ever who was stacked with tables and made sure not only us but everyone was taken care of as best she could. Ask for Coral and I guarantee the best experience ever!

My favorite place when I come to Richmond!! Service and food go hand in hand...THE BEST!! Puts my faith back in going out to eat again. And we always have goodies to take home

Of course, had to dine on patio with Covid restrictions. Delicious lunch; chopped salad with 1/2 chicken parm sandwich with fries. Food came out quickly, and if we asked for something (like ketchup), it arrived promptly. Always love Maggianos! Excellent wait staff, too.

"Okay" Italian food; service was poor though and the pricing seems higher than what it's worth for pasta. Came with a smaller group of 7 for my birthday... they must be extremely short staffed because it took 30 minutes for us to place an order, it was another 30 minutes before we got any appetizers (including salads), and well over another hour after that before we saw the dessert menus--not including even getting the desserts themselves. In all, we arrived at 6:15 PM and won't be leaving until after 9 PM. The food is okay... I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a party greater than 3. There are better, quicker, and more affordable places to get Italian food in the city proper.

I have high expectations, they have held a higher standing, however, the cod was fantastic, but the chicken parmesan was very disappointing. I would expect an Italian dish to be better and it was if gong Applebee's.

Great spot for a family style dinner. Great service. Great food. A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. We’ll definitely come back.

Fried calamari is EVERYTHING! The light crisp will melt in your mouth. I was disappointed in the spaghetti bc it was pork, not beef. Salad was delicious. And my friend had the baked ziti, which looked so good

Large portions, well prepared and presented food, ambiance is genuine, management cares about the customer and staff. Never a disappointment at this location.

I'm honestly not quite sure where all the high reviews come from. This was my first visit to a Maggiano's, and it will also be my last. The visit started off well enough, as I had a 7 pm reservation that I arrived early for and was seated quickly. However, once orders were taken, things went downhill fast. The wine that we ordered never arrived. The food was so beyond bland that it was almost laughable. I had chicken alfredo, and the chicken was not seared or even seasoned (literally didn't even have salt and pepper). Other drinks that were brought out were the wrong kind. We could not get the waiter's (David) attention for anything (refills, bread, etc.). Worst of all, he never offered a simple apology for anything. By the time we were even able to get his attention (after he made several stops at all the surrounding tables except ours), we were just ready to pay and get out.

A great chain restaurant for events and big parties! Many wonderful people work there, expect to wait. Can be loud at times but good overall experience usually.

Delicious food, generous portions, and friendly (David was awesome)! Only reason it's not 5 stars was it was ridiculously hot in the main dining area when we were there.

Nice restaurant and staff friendly. This is my first time here. My fiance wanted to go on a date to eat at this restaurant. I'm very picky eater so I order Alfredo fettuccine which come with no chicken or shrimp. I had to order a side of shrimp to my dish ☹️. The Alfredo sauce was runny and didn't take like Alfredo and shrimp weren't seasoned. Nope, I did not like it. My fiance had some kind of pasta dish he didn't like. But with our order which was off the classic menu you get a dish to take home. And also, we order a appetizer mozorella sticks they were really good and cheesy. So we got the spaghetti dishes which were really good to take home as Sunday dinner. But I won't be going back. But nice restaurant!

We visited Maggiano's the weekend before Christmas so the whole area was extremely busy. There was an hour wait at Maggiano's without a reservation and a 20 minute wait even if you did have a reservation. When we were seated, there were over a dozen empty tables throughout the restaurant. We were seated at Maggiano's over an hour and most of those empty tables were eventually filled so I'm not sure why they wouldn't fill them as soon as they became open. The taste of the food was just average and it was a little expensive, but it was a decent serving size. I likely won't return with so many other good options in the same area.

Always a great time when we dine there. The food is always good! We had a party of 8 and had the family dining menu. The pace was very slow for the first hour we were there, then things picked up thankfully

Food was delicious as always. Our server was having an off night. It seemed as though it was an annoyance to serve our meal. He seldom checked on us but was able to spend time with the table next to us chatting away. We asked for some more bread and had the basket tossed on the table as he flew past. We have had this server before and was impeccable...not sure what was going on this time.

The appetizers were really good. Dinner was a bit of a letdown. And what was even more of a letdown was how long service took. It wasn't a particular busy night and I don't know if it was the wait staff or the kitchen but things were definitely running slow.

Maggiano's is always great. Really nice bar/waiting area where you can have apps/coffee/ a drink while waiting then the dining room is really open, large and nicely decorated with good lighting. The service is always very attentive. The food has been consistently delicious in my experience with large portions and high quality. Considering all that it's really a great deal and very convenient location

We went to Sunday Brunch, which was wonderful! I got the Banana Pudding Pancakes (the best ever) and a mimosa. Hubby had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Both are winners! We had received a $10 coupon and wanted to use it, but our server said we were 10 cents short. REALLY?? So we bought some cookies to go. This has never happened before. As little disappointed.

Maggiano's is one of my favorites. They are consistently good every time I go there. I have been there for family dinners, date nights with my husband, and work functions with a large group of people. The wait staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. The family style menu is my favorite and provides so many different options and so much food for a very reasonable price. They make reservations easy and I always leave there full and happy. Anytime I am looking for a place to have a nice meal, Maggiano's is always on the list!

Delicious courses to choose from and beautifully plated. This restaurant is busy on the weekends so I recommend making a reservation so you don't have to wait. However the bar is a nice place to start if you do find yourself waiting on a table. The portions are insane! I almost always have a take home box. The Sicilian cake is amazing! A+

My fiance and I visited this location for a celebratory dinner. Mel was our server and he was really great. The food was superb. We will definitely be eating here again.

It's difficult to pinpoint what I loved most...the superior quality and taste of our pasta dishes (lasagne and baked ziti), the warm crusty bread and dip, or the beyond heavenly tiramisu!!! All this, plus two delicious, fresh, crisp salads of our choice included in the Dinner for Two! Such a bargain!!! And I always feel "at home" there, even though the interior is that of a classy upscale restaurant! We just LOVE it here! And all staff was following "mask protocol" and social distancing. Very comforting! Cant wait to go back again VERY SOON!

We had a great time at this little piece of Italy at Short Pump Richmond Virginia. The Denver steak is a much tougher piece of beef than I was told it was. I was surprised by the toughness, knowing a place like this usually serves high quality beef Seafood, Etc... The ambiance was excellent and our service, in particular our server was excellent. I was surprised I could not receive and sign up for the Maggiano's discount program while at the same time making a reservation. You make the reservation through a whole nother website called OpenTable. I would think a restaurant like this would come by and the ability to make a reservation on their app, which should include their dying in discount programs. Overall, my wife and I had a great time!

Service was attentive. Food was impeccably delicious. Care was exceptional for COVID adherence.

Really amazing food but we didn't have the best service. Our waiter may have been over whelmed or something but I expected more. The food definitely saved this review though because it is really good.

Sit-in restaurant is the best as you can give them feedback right away. Good ambiance and good for parties. However, food is very rich to the point of not very healthy. They add cheese at the drop of a hat. I ordered salad and explicitly asked them to NOT add cheese or even meat and they added cheese. Of course they added pork in an order last year, and that is another sore topic.

The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious.

Knew this was a chain cause my family has it by them up in Pennsylvania but great restaurant service was impeccable food was really good desserts will blow you away 8 in the bar area and really enjoyed it so you can go anywhere from casual to fine dining at my ego knows and there's a gorgeous outside patio when it's not too hot outside food is reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money highly recommend great for data for the entire family

Decided to eat here after a meeting. Very friendly staff host mistakenly referred to me as Olivia. Olivia is a cute name so I smiled and gave her a pass. Lol! I had the white bean and ham soup ,stuffed mushrooms, salmon and spinach in a butter cream type of sauce and butter cake . I enjoyed everything except the soup. The server who was the bar tender must noticed I didn't like it so I wasn't charged for it without me having to make a fuss . I thought that was thoughtful and nice . management was also attentive. I'd eat here again. I treated myself well. :-)

The food was good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We ordered the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and were surprised by the size of each piece. Normally you get sticks or triangles, but here you get a slab of fried cheese with sauce and even more melted cheese on top. I ordered the lobster carbonara for the entree and it was delicious. I'm not used to having what I believed to be sugar snap peas in it as opposed individual peas without the pods, so that would be a much larger portion of the taste in those bites. The only real negative of the meal was my drinks. The first drink tasted like water with some coloring added. When I asked for a replacement, I received iced tea instead of lemonade and gave up at that point. The food was good enough and the prices were reasonable enough, for that mix up to stop me from going back though.

This is the place where you can invite for a romantic dinner or celebrate an important event in life. the restaurant has intelligent waiters. There are white tablecloths on the tables. The food is very tasty.

On Saturday - had a very challenging experience with take out! Had pre- ordered and paid on Thursday then called prior to pick up at 545pm on Saturday- told would have it ready. My husband went to pick up Rigatoni “d” and ziti. The food given to him was wrong, he waited another 20minutes- to supposedly get the right food- then was told it was never paid for😡. By the time getting home for our dinner party- they had 1 of the 2 items totally wrong- no ziti but some chicken, spinach dish marked ziti on the top. I have ordered many times in the past with no issues, this time I was VERY disappointed!!

Had a great time. The staff was top notch and very comfortable to talk with.

Nice place, and friendly staff! Only problem was my husband and I sat and waited for a hour for our food! People kept coming to the table showing us plates asking was it ours ( maybe showed the plates to three ppl before they found the owners), our tables was rocky (napkins were on the floor trying to balance the table) so they moved us a table over! Was not worth the headache from hunger! Won’t be returning!
